Oh my gosh you guys my due date is in 3 months! 3 months! How has this even happened?! When I was pregnant with Greyson I felt like the pregnancy dragged on FOREVER and this time it is flying by! I don’t mind though, I can’t wait to meet this little baby girl of ours. But, also, what the heck where is time going?!
Since re-launching my blog I haven’t really discussed how I am feeling during this pregnancy so this evening I thought I’d do just that. I am officially 27 weeks today, so yay third trimester time! My due date is December 20, 2017 as of right now, I know sometimes those doctors like to switch those dates up on you, which I am okay with as long as they say it’s sooner not later 😉
So far my pregnancy has been really great, I was sick pretty bad for about 3 weeks (about week 6-9) in the first trimester but since then have been fortunate to not be sick anymore! It was strange because I was so nauseous and sick every single day in the morning and after dinner for 3 weeks straight and then one day it just abruptly stopped. No complaints, but still odd. Since then the only thing I have struggled with is some lower back pain and some headaches. Which I’ll happily take, I truly feel so sad for all the mama’s out there who are so so sick through pregnancy. 😦
I feel I am showing differently then when I had Greyson, she seems to be a lot lower and so far smaller then he was. I’m sure that’ll be changing in this final stretch though (emphasis on the STRETCH) Also, when I was pregnant with Greyson my boobs got HUGE (tmi? lol) and I absolutely hated it, and so far this time that hasn’t happened which I am thankful for, but I cringe even talking about it because I don’t want to jinx it haha.
Things I have changed a bit my second time around mostly has to do with what I am eating and also incorporating exercise into my life. I am awful at sticking to work outs, but I really didn’t like how I felt during times of my pregnancy with Greyson and I know it’s because I was not getting enough exercise, I sat in my desk all day at work and then would come home and just lay around. Not a good combo, for me! So, this time I have been doing some pregnancy work out videos I found on Youtube and I feel significantly better and less sore then my first pregnancy! You definitely have to be cautious when working out while pregnant, but it is really good for you and your baby if you are doing proper pregnancy work outs, and as long as your doctor or mid-wife haven’t told you otherwise!
I can’t really think of too much else to report, I feel I’ve been having a pretty good time through this pregnancy which I am so very thankful for everyday! The only recent change is my doctor told me I needed to start taking an iron supplement, which I just did for the first time this evening! Not going to lie it made me feel a bit nauseous… so I hope my body adjusts to it quickly. Although, I am sure any of you out there who were nauseous the whole time probably want me to feel a little of your pain, which I don’t blame you!
I’d love to hear in the comments any differences you guys have felt throughout different pregnancies, or just how you are doing in general, preggo or not. 🙂 Thanks for reading!
